Coat Drive Will Keep Many Warm

We recently held our coat drive and thanks to the generosity of the public, there will be 150 warmer men, women and children in the Southern Tier of New York. The coat drive, co-sponsored by Crystal Cleaners, was held during the month of September.
"Each organization and school we delivered coats to was very appreciative and thankful that the public recognized this need," said Kim Depew, Supervisor of Community Development at Corning Credit Union.
Warm winter coats were distributed to Corning Community Food Pantry, Corning Senior Center, the Big Flats Community Food Pantry, Shepherd's Cupboard Food Pantry, the Salvation Army in Corning, Oakwood United Methodist Food Pantry, and several schools in the Corning and Elmira area.
