Seasonal/Summer Member Service Representatives

Location: Corning, NY

Corning Credit Union (CCU) is currently seeking eager and talented individuals to join the organization for paid summer internships and seasonal support roles. Roles vary, but include Member Service Representatives (tellers) and various financial processing support functions.  

Ideal candidates are those currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics; however, other majors will also be considered. CCU will work with colleges to ensure your experience meets program requirements and focuses on technical and interpersonal skill development.      

All roles require:

Call Center Representative

      Consumer Loan Officer

      Location: Corning, NY or Greater Wilmington, NC

      Corning Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Officer to work in our Lending Call Center. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, customer service, and analytical skills.  

      Responsibilities:

      The Loan Officer is responsible for gathering applicant information, reviewing and analyzing credit histories and making sound lending decisions. Other duties include providing exceptional service, support, and education to our members including recommending additional products and services to meet their financial needs.

          Robotic Process Automation Developer

          The RPA Developer provides expertise with RPA Technologies, oversight and assurance of the automation environment’s performance, integrity, and system stability. The RPA Developer is involved with supporting RPA Technologies by building, developing, testing and deploying automation components.  The successful candidate will work with cross-functional technical teams, business analysts and key stakeholders to determine viable process candidates for automation, the mapping and modeling of process automation and maintaining the environment to ensure it remains highly available for business-critical processes.  

          Required:

          • Continues to participate in trainings to further enhance skills and abilities, including tools and best practices. Learning on the job will be a critical element of the role – the developer should become an expert in both RPA and Corning’s operations.
          • Working knowledge of business process design, the software development lifecycle.
          • Ability to gather requirements and develop processes to solve business issues and create efficiencies.
          • Experience with process analysis, design and implementation, business and technical requirements, problem-solving, and system(s) testing, including, unit testing, UAT and bug fixes.
          • Must understand and follow secure development practices to ensure sensitive data is secure from end-to-end.

          • Certifications related to RPA Technologies, process improvement or other industry certifications.
          • Experience with developing an RPA environment from the ground floor. Contributing to the establishment of standards, processes and governance.
          • Experience with financial industry applications, programming to the APIs those applications and integrations between them.
          • Experience in documenting processes, procedures, and standards – familiarity with BPM methodology a plus.
          • Experience interfacing with financial industry platforms such as Core, LOS, document imaging.
          • Experience interfacing with cloud solutions such as Salesforce, M365, and DocuSign.
          • Experience in programming and scripting, SQL and relational databases, and application modeling and development.
          • Possesses a thorough understanding of the technology components in the Credit Union’s data processing environment.

          Salesforce Administrator

          Location: This opportunity is available in Corning, NY and the greater Wilmington, NC area. Telecommuting options will also be considered in PA, NC, SC, GA, TX, or much of NY.

          Corning Credit Union is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our growing team!

          The Salesforce Administrator will assist with the ongoing development and deployment of the Credit Union’s Salesforce platform, including related applications such as nCino.  The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, sales, marketing, IT, Member Services, third parties, and PMO teams to develop and deploy new features to the Credit Union’s Salesforce environment.  The administrator will also be responsible for day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform, which may include maintenance tasks, including user/permission management, upgrade management, vendor management, backup/retention management, and general troubleshooting. CCU’s Salesforce environment includes Financial Services Cloud, Salesforce Communities, and Marketing Cloud.  

          Required:

          • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
          • Possesses strong organization and time management skills and has the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a high-pressure environment
          • Ability to evaluate the impact of new projects/processes on the Salesforce platform and all upstream/downstream applications, data flows, and workflows
