If You’re Making Travel Plans, Remember to Let CCU Know.
Because CCU is diligently on the lookout for suspicious activity, there’s a chance we might decline an out-of-town transaction that is not normal activity for you. It’s how we keep you safe from fraud, which is number one on our priority list. By letting
us know in advance that you’ll be traveling, our free service will help give you reassurance that your card services won’t be disrupted while you’re away.
To get started, simply follow these steps:
- Log into online banking or your mobile app.
- Send us a secure email by clicking the Message Center envelope icon on the left (click "More" if you don't see it), then click "Compose."
Select "Travel Notification" as the subject, then enter the following information:
- Departure Date
- Return Date
- Account numbers to notate
- Last 4 digits of cards that will be used
If you wish, it's helpful to include an email or phone contact where you can be reached while you’re away.
You can also provide these details via phone by calling 607-962-3144 or 800-677-8506, or visit a branch to notify us in person. For locations and hours,
In the event that you do experience an issue with your card, please know that you can contact us 24/7 by phone. Please call the number found on the back of your card (607-962-3144 or 800-677-8506) for assistance.
